CS2 Trade Up CalculatorCalculate Your Odds

Calculate trade up contract odds before you commit. Know your chances of hitting that expensive skin and predict the exact output float.

How Trade Up Contracts Work

Trade up 10 skins of one rarity to get 1 skin of the next rarity tier.

1

Input 10 Skins

Select 10 skins of the same rarity from the same or different collections

2

Calculate Odds

See the probability of getting each possible outcome skin

3

Predict Float

Know the exact float range of your output before trading up

Trade Up Float Formula

Output Float = (Average Input Float) × (Max - Min) + Min

Where Min and Max are the float range limits of the output skin.

Example Calculation

10 skins with average float 0.15, output skin range 0.00-0.50:
Output = 0.15 × (0.50 - 0.00) + 0.00 = 0.075 (Minimal Wear)

Low Float Strategy

Use 10 low-float input skins to guarantee a low-float output. Factory New trade ups can be worth significantly more.

Trade Up Tips & Strategies

Float Average Matters

The output float is based on the average float of your 10 input skins. Lower average = lower output float.

Mix Collections Strategically

Use skins from collections with expensive outcomes to increase your expected value.

Check Float Ranges

Some skins have restricted float ranges. A "Field-Tested only" skin can't come out Factory New.

Calculate Expected Value

Multiply each outcome probability by its value, then subtract input cost to find profit potential.

Trade Up Risk Warning

Trade up contracts are inherently risky. Even with perfect calculations, you can still get unlucky outcomes. Never trade up skins you can't afford to lose. Our calculator helps you make informed decisions, but doesn't guarantee profits.
